Horsegram Chutney

Ingredients
· Horsegram- 1 cup (Soaked overnight)
·
Garlic glove-4
·
Coriander seeds- 1 tsp
·
Cuming seed- 1 tsp
·
curry leaves- few
·
Red chillies-2-3
·
Tomato - Half
Direction
1. Boil soaked horsegram
in cooker for 3-4 whistle along with coriander seeds, cuming seeds, red
chillies, garlic, half tomato and curry leaves
2. Add the composition with salt in grinder.
3. Grind it
coarsely
4. Horsegram
chutney goes well along with rice

I have to accept the fact that my four year old daughter felt it very heavy to eat not because of the taste 😃 but because of the texture. So to give her different perspective, I added little ghee and made small little balls for her to eat and to make it look like more fun.
Amid snow, the highlight would be the question. When I was trying to get picture from different angle, my daughter asked me this funny and more sensible question “If I am keeping food for birds”.
Note: I have heard many elders advising ladies not to
consume horse gram, til, etc if they are planning to conceive/already
conceived due to excess heat generation.
